When your product arrives 2 weeks ahead of schedule you are starting off on the right foot. It was a hppy day :)
I shopped for 3 months before deciding on this bed. CB has a very similar bed which IS higher in quality but at a VERY high price. I sacrificed a bit on quality and did the assembly myself but saved over $1,400 and recieved my product weeks before CB could deliver.
Lots of parts to put together but it isn't that hard. I am a 5'3 125lb 43yo woman who put it together all by herself. I only needed help lifting the box spring and matress back onto the bed.
My only complaint is the foot board and sideboards do not fit together perfectly. There is a small gap that I notice but no one else has. I think 2 "L" brackets and 4 wood screws could solve the problem - if I had some on hand I would have fastened the corners on the inide and have a perfect product. Minus 1 star for that minor issue.
Very satisfied and would positively recommend this to anyone who is willing to sacrifice some quality and time spent on assembly to save MUCHO $$$.
